HBO analyst Larry Merchant has always been a huge Pacquiao supporter himself, but he doesn’t see Mosley as a pushover. In fact, he called Sugar Shane the most dangerous opponent possible.

Even more dangerous than Floyd Mayweather.

“I think Shane Mosley presents the most danger. You have to remember that Pacquiao is still fighting bigger guys. What would happen if Mosley fought Marquez? If you’re asking who I think he should fight, and who would bring in the most money, then it’s Marquez, but if you’re asking me which of them is the most dangerous, then it’s Shane Mosley,” Merchant said

I agree that Mosley is more dangerous than Marquez, but he’s no where near the most dangerous possible opponent out there. Andre Berto and Sergio MArtinez both pose a much bigger risk than Mosley.

I won’t even waste time mentioning Floyd Mayweather because he’s no longer a potential opponent for Pacquiao. Money May is simply too scared to ever fight him.
